Great Introduction to the Bible For Any Age -#TheBiggestStory #flyby--- Giveaway
From the artwork to the DVD itself The Biggest Story is a nice introduction to the important stories of the Bible that is sure to captivate any audience. The voice narration by Author Kevin DeYoung is nice and soothing yet completely grabs your attention. I put the DVD on for my girls, who range in age from 14 down to 4 and they were captivated from the beginning. They wanted to see more.
I will say right away that we are not church goers. However, we do believe in God and Jesus. The Biggest Story shows, in the right amount of time (short 2 - 3 minutes segments, the important stories in the Bible to make those who watch or listen to the Audio Book want to learn more. It's a great introduction from the sins of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, all the way through to Jesus.
The illustrations by Don Clark is beautiful. The colors are so bright and vivid. There are 10 chapters in all, and they are quick about 2 to 3 minutes each, and this honestly is the perfect amount of time in my opinion because lets face it, kids aren't the only ones with a short attention span these days!
The audio disc is something nice to listen to in while driving, and the DVD is also great to play when driving a short distance. In the audio disc, Mr. DeYoung's voice is very soothing, yet the music in the background is perfect as it goes along with each story being told, it gets exciting during climatic parts of the story, and calms back down again.
In my opinion, both the Audio and the animation for the DVD were done beautifully, enough to captivate the audience no matter what age. And the timing was perfect. Not long and drawn out, but for those new to the stories of the Bible it leaves you want to learn more.
