My Awei Wireless Smart Sports Stereo Bluetooth Earbud Review
Recently I had been asked to review/test a pair of bluetooth earbuds for a review in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion.
These Airmate/Awei Bluetooth earbuds are awesome!! They have great sound quality and are extremely easy to use. They have magnetic closure in the back of the earbuds, making it easier for them not to get tangled up and damaged. The colors are a hot mix. They are red and black. The controls are nice and visible. The controls are also very easy to use. To pair, just turn on the earbuds with the red button in the middle, this is the power button. It paired very quickly with my phone. Just hold the power button down for a few seconds and these earbuds were ready to pair with my phone. The blue LED will flash showing you it's ready. Use the power button to take a call also. What is neat about taking a call, is while you are listening to whatever it is your listening to, it will pause, and the number that is calling you will be announced. To answer just tap the power button for a second. If you want to reject the call hold the power button down longer, for about 2 seconds.
To skip forward or rewind a song, the volume control keys are used. Also, like any of the bluetooth headphones/earbuds that I have reviewed, the volume first starts with whatever device you are pairing to.
These come with three different sized earbuds. Large, medium and small, and fit comfortably in my ears. I have been using the one that comes on the set. I have exercised with these with no problems at all. The range on these seem to be a longer distance than others that I have reviewed as well. This also comes with a clip so you can clip the flat cord to your clothes so the cord isn't flopping around while exercising.
Also include is a USB for quick charging (I forgot to include that in my video) The connection for the USB is also where the volume control, mic, and power buttons are. This charges really quickly. Within an hour. When the battery is dead you will see a red LED light just above the power button. When fully charged this light changes to blue.
As far as I can see the only thing that would have made these earbuds a little better is if they came with a little carrying pouch or case. Other than that, they give great sound, and are easy to use. The instructions are easy to follow.
