Veggie Tales for Girls Daily Prayers-Review and Giveaway!! #everydaywithgod #flyby

I have four girls and we have recently moved to a new area. Growing up I had one Church that I belonged to, and have had a hard time finding that same acceptance from a church anywhere I go. However, I do my best to make sure my girls know about God and his loving acceptance. I also let them know they can ask God for anything, and what it feels like to have a loving relationship with God.

I love this Veggie Tales Every Day with God 365 Daily Devos for Girls. It's such a beautiful book designed specifically for girls and the troubles they go through growing up in the younger years of life. The recommended age group is 4-7 years of age; however, my 11 year old daughter has really been enjoying it. She reads this on a daily basis.  I am also introducing it to my 4 year old and 9 year old, but my 11 year old kind of took ownership to it!

This is a book that goes through and gives a bible verse at the top of each page, with an explanation of the verse, a thought to ponder upon, and a prayer for the day based on the bible passage. It is extremely easy for them to read and understand.

This is an excellent introduction to teaching children a way to read the bible and actually understand it as they get older.  This book is Veggie Tales for girls and that is possibly because the cover is pink. I know they do have one for boys to read as well, but I can't speak as to the content of that one, as I only have this one. My point about that though, is even though this is for girls, the messages and the teaching  of values in this book is gender neutral. There may be some that are specific for girls problems; however, the messages in this book are clear, and teach excellent values to kids to become an even better person and truly learn at an early age to give their worries to God. To truly have that great relationship with God.

One example of one of the pages in the book is "Don't Worry... Trust God".  While this is so very important, this one in particular has special meaning to myself. As we get older, at least myself anyway, we tend to forget to give all of our worries to God, and when we stop doing this the anxiety and burdens can become overbearing. This is something I want instilled in my girls from an early age, as I feel to really grow, to really thrive, this is so very important, and it sometimes harder to do as an adult.

At the end of this wonderful book are pages that have bible versus to help our daughters memorize as it carries them through life.

Okay now that you know what this book is about. It's giveaway time!!! Good Luck!!!
