Charlie the Tramp is a classic short story from the 60's. It's great seeing older books that are timeless pieces with the great lessons kids learn from. This story reminds kids that taking the easy way out isn't always the best thing. Charlie's parents let Charlie experience what Charlie wanted to experience to be a tramp instead of doing what beavers do. Charlie felt that he wanted the simple task of carrying sticks and nothing else. "Tramps just tramp around and have a good time. They carry sticks with little bundles tied to them. They sleep in a field when the weather is nice, and when it rains they sleep in a barn" Throughout this short story is Charlie's adventure as he tries to be a tramp. I have said it before and I will say it again, God is so miraculous. I have had the pleasure of giving a review to this book Say & Pray Devotions, First Words, Devotions and Prayers, board book by Diane Stortz and Illustrated by Sarah Ward. This board book is great for a few different reasons. First it helps little ones learn to read by having pictures next to words, and what goes on throughout the day. For example the first pages show Good Morning and a little girl in a bathroom with a wash cloth, tooth brushes, tooth paste etc....This also has a simple say and pray. Gives a simple passage from the bible and a sweet short little prayer. The book takes us through out the day into the night. Each page is the same with words and places and the say and pray. The children of the book go to the zoo, the playground and the beach. This shows the little ones music with joyful noise, playing with friends, helpers that serve the community, and pets. Let's face it none of us are perfect parents, most of us strive to be, but it's next to impossible to be. And you know what, that is okay. Why, because we weren't meant to be the perfect parents. In fact, we set ourselves up for failure because of the expectations we put on ourselves, and worse we tend to put on our kids. It's not our jobs to be trophy parents. Our kids aren't trophies. This lamp by Zeefo is pretty neat! It is a simple design. This lamp takes 3 AA batteries, and the battery compartment is easy to open and close. It has a switch on the bottom for auto, off and on. This is very simple and light weight. It's great to have where you need a quick light or where you don't have an electrical outlet. Let's face it, its nice for when you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I don't know about you, but I swear, ever since I have had kids, I get up at least twice in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom! This light is great so I don't have to turn the light on going into the bathroom and not tripping over kids toys! It is made of all plastic, the base is silver paint like coating. It does have a nice design. It isn't very tall or big around so it's nice to be able to put anywhere light is needed really. Doesn't take up much space at all! I have four girls and we have recently moved to a new area. Growing up I had one Church that I belonged to, and have had a hard time finding that same acceptance from a church anywhere I go. However, I do my best to make sure my girls know about God and his loving acceptance. I also let them know they can ask God for anything, and what it feels like to have a loving relationship with God. I love this Veggie Tales Every Day with God 365 Daily Devos for Girls. It's such a beautiful book designed specifically for girls and the troubles they go through growing up in the younger years of life. The recommended age group is 4-7 years of age; however, my 11 year old daughter has really been enjoying it. I wish I had this 4-15 years ago instead of those messy mesh ones. This Boppin Baby Nibbler is awesome for a few reasons. It helps babies get some nice refreshing fruit, or whatever else you want to put in it, without the fear of baby choking. It also helps for teething babies if you want to put something frozen inside. Baby, Baby written by Diane Stortz Illustrated by Ailie Busby is a cute baby board book with mirrors. The front cover has a mirror as well as the second to last page of the book. It has a really cute introduction as to who God loves on the mirror page- My daughter loves this page! This book is very sweet with illustrations of cute babies going through a typical day of eating, cuddling, drinking from a bottle, giving kisses, etc. It shows it in a whimsical rhyming method that grabs the attention of the little ones reading along. I haven't been reading this book to any babies, but I have been reading this to my 4 year old daughter. She absolutely loves babies, and gets a kick out of seeing what they do. She doesn't realize, but because of the rhyming she is learning how to read, but sssshhh don't tell her that! She is only enjoying the book. As a mom of four children, I feel that this is a really cute book to introduce to a sibling that is expecting a new baby brother

From the artwork to the DVD itself The Biggest Story is a nice introduction to the important stories of the Bible that is sure to captivate any audience. The voice narration by Author Kevin DeYoung is nice and soothing yet completely grabs your attention. I put the DVD on for my girls, who range in age from 14 down to 4 and they were captivated from the beginning. They wanted to see more. I will say right away that we are not church goers. However, we do believe in God and Jesus. The Biggest Story shows, in the right amount of time (short 2 - 3 minutes segments, the important stories in the Bible to make those who watch or listen to the Audio Book want to learn more. It's a great introduction from the sins of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, all the way through to Jesus. The illustrations by Don Clark is beautiful. The colors are so bright and vivid. Night Night Farm, written by Amy Parker, is an excellent children's bed time story. Showing all the animals mommies and daddy's tucking the cute little animals in to sleep. They show pigs and piglets, cats and kittens, cows, mice, sheep, and horses. They even show chickens resting over their eggs. And at the end saying goodnight to God. Very sweet! I love this book for my almost 4 year old daughter. My daughter is not really into books. I am trying really hard to get her to like books, but she really doesn't like me reading to her at all. She likes to look at pictures real fast and then she is done. This book she actually lets me read to her. In fact, she brings me the book not only at night time but all through out the day. Not once, not twice but it has been 4 times in a row, she demands I read it to her, each and every time she brings it to me. And she doesn't flip the page on me before I can finish, which is very refreshing. I know that may not sound like a lot

Okay so we are in the complete dog days of summer, and well lets face it, drinks even sweat! But really unless you have really crappy furniture that you are going to be getting rid of anyway, then you don't mind a bunch of watermarks. This is an excellent read for really just about anyone. It takes you through all different aspects of life, relationships, parenthood, childhood, and those that have been abused. This book Unashamed : Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom from Shame teaches to let go of shame and separate it from guilt. The author Heather Davis Nelson does this through uses of scriptor and the gospel, to teach those who read this book that it isn't an overnight journey, but a lifelong journey of forgiveness and letting go with steps to take. Each one of us, no matter what our backgrounds are have experienced some type of shame. It doesn't matter what from, but the author Heather Davis Nelson genuinely gives guidance on how to let go and bring you closer to God, how to heal and how to help and heal others. Recently I have been asked to review a cutting board by Kitchen Gizmo at a discounted price in exchange for my honest unbiased review. This cutting board is awesome!! It is nice and flexible to be able to fold and and slide in chopped up ingredients. It's double sided and doesn't take up a lot of space! Sweet! It is double sided red or black. And this even has the juice groove around the edge to ensure keeping the counter tops clean! No need to worry about knife marks either. This does not show knife marks. Flat out this is a really nice cutting board that doesn't take up much space at all! I am in the process of moving and have a couple of cutting boards, they are all getting thrown away and being replaced with this one!! No need to drain the car battery to have electronics charged while camping. Yes, no electronics should be used while camping, I mean really it's a way to escape from all of that, but let's face it, who really does that? Let's face it, this country seems to be divided more than united when it comes to the life of a police officer. Well, here is my stance, no matter what profession, there are always going to be good and bad people. Whether you agree with me or not, police officers often get a bad rap for the bad apples of the profession. Yet the truth of the matter, these brave men and women put their lives on the line on a daily basis to protect the citizens of the United States. Do they become jaded, yes some, and truthfully it's kinda hard not to, especially with all that they see. However, they still put their lives on the line regardless of the opinions of people they form over the years in the line of duty. There are many good cops out there! Many that go above and beyond what is required of them. I can go on and on about the subject; however, I will keep this post short. I am a northern girl living in a southern world. All year round is grill time down here in the south, and well for some northerners that are brave enough to dust off the snow and freeze their asses off to grill, all year round. When living up north I would sometimes do this, because let's face it, a steak or burgers just do not taste the same any other way!! Regardless of when you grill or how often, you still need to clean your grill, unless you are...like some and never clean your grill to "season" it. When you do want to clean it you use a grill brush . As most of you all know, these are not all created equal. Yes you have your little brushes with the scraper on them, but you have to wait until the grill is cooled down so you don't burn your hands using them. Don't you just love when items have many different purposes? I know I do, and that is exactly what is great about this  Perfecto Shaving Brush . I am really liking this iron/hair straightener, that I have purchased at a discounted price in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This is awesome that is has two different options. You can either use this as a curling iron or a flat iron. The flat iron can also be used as a clip to hold the hair while curling it. This doesn't quite get up to 450 degrees; however, it does get up to 428 degrees. The degrees are measured in celsius; however, I converted it for myself in degrees.
